End of half term.

Date: 26th Oct 2018 @ 4:25pm

Good afternoon everyone,

Firstly, thank you to everyone that attended the parent consultations this week. I know that I can speak for myself and Mrs. Pulle when I say how much we enjoyed meeting with you all and talking about the progress the children have been making so far this year. It was particularly nice for me to 'put some names to the faces' and it will certainly help with sending the pupils off to you at the end of the day!

I thought that I would share a little of our science lessons this week and have included a small selection of photographs to show what the children have been doing. We have been looking at fossils and how they were formed, discovered and extracted from the ground, including work on possibly the most famous fossil 'hunter', Mary Anning. The children have also made their own 'fossil' using an item brought from home as an imprint, and for the final science lesson this half term we took our knowledge of paleontology and used it to carefully extract chocolate chips from cookies.

I hope that everyone enjoys the half term holiday!
