Welcome back!

What a busy start to the term we’ve all had.

In maths this week, we have been revising what we know about numbers. We were challenged to find one more and one less from a given number, it was a little bit tricky but we had fun.

In literacy this week we have written about what we did over the half term holidays. We then read the story ‘The Papaya that spoke.’ It was all about a hardworking, friendly farmer who grew quite surprising fruit!

We were introduced to our new topic this week, Hooray, let’s go on Holiday! First we talked about our favourite place to go on holiday and how we travelled there. Then we asked the teachers where their favourite holiday destination was. We found it very funny that all the teachers went to Wales when they were our age.

Although Miss Sherliker is off school at the moment, she is doing well and we hope she is back with us very soon. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
