Morning all,
It was a busy week in year last week. We finished our topic on poetry and I was delighted with the poems that the class produced. We also took part in anti-bullying week discussing different scenarios with possible emotions, actions and reactions that may occur.
This week we begin our new Talk 4 writing topic on Beowulf. Both Mrs Saunders and I are looking forward to this exiting unit. On Thursday, we will be having a Beowulf day looking at the characters and story in more detail.
In maths this week we are continuing to look at multiplication in particular written forms. I will attach the speed challenges to this blog as I did last week so children can attempt these at home before they try in school.
This Friday is the Christmas fare at school. Year 4 are tasked with running the tombola stall and I would appreciate any parent helpers. Any amount of time you can do from 6:30pm onwards would be great. Let me know either on the yard or through a note in planners.
