Year One - Week Beginning 18th May 2020

I hope you are all safe, well and looking after each other. It's been lovely to see your children's work this week on Dojo. 

I've put lots of homework for you to choose from in the pupil area as usual.  I've tweaked some of it based on feedback from parents.  Your feedback is invaluable, thank you. 

I've now put a guided reading book for different colour levels, so you can just select the level your child is on.  As last week, the guided reading books are meant to last 3 days.  The first day will be learning the red and green words and a try at reading the book themselves, the second day will be a reminder of those words and you reading it to them, and the third day is to answer questions about the book.  This will ensure they get lots of practise. 

As usual the maths lessons are on whiterosemaths.com home learning, Summer 1, week 5.  Activity sheets that complement these lessons are in the pupil area.

I have added some extra activities for fun this week and also some challenges to stretch your children if you wish.

You will find all of the other subjects in the pupil area as usual.
