York Day 1

The children have had a fantastic first day here in York. After an early lunch and a quick play we unpacked before walking into York for our river cruise. On our way into town we met George, a rather tiny owl, and his friends. It was great to get close! 

Tea was pasta and despite a few ‘I don’t like spaghetti bol’s they all ate well. The chocolate cake certainly went down well! We then went across onto the race course for some free time and a walk. Many, many steps have been recorded on Fitbits!

All of the children have done really well and they have demonstrated their excellent manners and fabulous attitude. All are now fast asleep and we are looking forward to pancakes and cereal in the morning.
