Chemistry with Cabbage

Ever wondered why baby sick has lumps in it, even though it is only milk? Well, that is what Year 6 have been investigating today. That and much, much more: how to make a solution; how to distil; what happens if you pour acetone on a polystyrene cup; how to blow candles out with carbon dioxide; inventing medicines and even careers in chemistry. It was lovely to see everyone totally immersed in the science and having a fantastic time. Thank you very much to Chemistry with Cabbage for a fascinating day of exploration. "10 out of 10!"
