My name is Mr McAulay and I am the Year 3 class teacher. I love my job, as I like to inspire a love of learning for life. I enjoy teaching all areas of the curriculum, but particularly enjoy teaching English and PE. This year I am looking forward to the many sporting events that we have planned in my role as Sports coordinator, as I feel sport is a great way to foster teamwork and healthy competition.

I have very much enjoyed working at Brereton for over 15 years and I am delighted to be back in KS1. I love education and relish teaching in a school which embodies Christian values and celebrates how children grow emotionally and spiritually as well as academically. I am interested in the different ways children learn and endeavour to plan creatively using art, drama and storytelling wherever possible.

I have been at Brereton since January 2014 and love being part of such a supportive team. I am the Year 5 teacher and also the PSHE coordinator and Mental Health Lead. My favourite subjects are English, Art and History. Outside of school I have three children who keep me very busy and entertained!

I get to work across the school and I love being a part of the whole school community. My particular subject interests are Science, Maths and History, but I am also an avid reader and love reading with my classes. At home I am at my happiest digging in the garden listening to Test Match Special on the radio, but I also enjoy eating out and watching Manchester City.

I am really looking forward to teaching Year 6 this year and I am particularly looking forward to our trip to Pensarn!  As well as teaching Year 6, I am also Geography Lead.

Hi, I'm Miss Roxburgh and I am so excited to be joining the school. I have recently finished my training year and cannot wait to be teaching in Year 2! I hope you all have a lovely summer and I look forward to seeing you in September.

I’ll be joining Brereton in September and will be working in Reception. I’m really looking forward to getting to know all the new children and their families. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and watching football
