Pensarn Day 4

Date: 30th Mar 2023 @ 5:44pm

Another busy day!  Today's activities consisted of:

Mrs McLean's group: Gorge walking and rock climbing.

Well done to Elena and Alessia who were a little nervous to begin with but then had to be dragged away from the river!  Eddie was also a little anxious about climbing but managed to scale the rock face; however, he has decided he prefers sports which take place at ground level!  Erin was a fantastic climber and Lily got up so quickly Mrs M didn’t get a photo.  William was a super demonstrator and Charlie showed great perseverance and wouldn’t give up on the trickier climb.  Evie was also a little hesitant to tackle the more difficult one but flew up most of it, as did Tilly.  A great final day of activities with a super group.

Mr Cotton and Mrs Pirie's group: Archery and canoeing.

Sienna and Toby both put fantastic effort into the canoeing.  Harley was fantastic at archery!  Another great day where the group embraced all activities and worked well as a team.  Well done!

Mrs Sant's group: Wilderness skills and orienteering.

Bethany and Leila completed the orienteering course and everyone followed the instructions well and worked effectively as a team.  A few of the groups felt a little tired today but everyone rallied round and motivated one another.  It was lovely to see!

Sausage and mash for tea, followed by chocolate mousse.  We are now settling down to watch a movie (with lots of snacks!).

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow afternoon!
