Reception's Blog - Week Beginning Monday 3rd September

Good evening,

Here are the pictures from today, our last half day before starting at school full time. The children seem to have thoroughly enjoyed their time and settled in very well.

Over the course of the week we have explored numbers to ten, painted pictures, drawn and written letters from individual names. This has proven very successful and the children have loved showing their new friends all of their creations. All children have enjoyed playing in the ‘farm house’ and ‘farm shop’ as part of their role play as well as exploring many different activities in our outside area.

It has been a pleasure to share each child’s first experience of school and we hope they all are looking forward to school on Monday as much as we are.
