Blists Hill Victorian town visit

We had a fantastic day out at Blists Hill last Friday. The school room was a very authentic experience for the class, they really enjoyed immersing themselves in it. They also looked amazing dressed up in their costumes - as did we all. We will be doing a piece of writing - a first-person recount - on this this week.

We didn't have as much time as I woud have liked for looking round the town afterwards, but we did manage to get in several shops and speak to the shopkeepers about life in that era.
