Excellence in Personal Development Award

Here at Brereton we are passionate about developing the whole child and we are excited to share that we are currently working towards achieving an ‘Excellence in Personal Development Award.’ 

This award offers challenges us to develop a strong pastoral curriculum which develops pupil’s personal attributes and attitudes, such as self-confidence, resilience and self-discipline. With a focus on involving local and national organisations, it will help us to prepare pupils for life in modern Britain.

We are incredibly excited to embark on this programme.  All staff will be supporting this project and our primary team members are:

Mrs McLean - Headteacher

Mrs Wood – Deputy Headteacher

Mrs Field – PSHE and Mental Health Lead

Mr Cotton – SENDCo

Mrs Jenkinson – Parent Governor

Our pupil councils will also be striving to complete this award and we would warmly welcome any support from parents or local businesses so please do get in touch.
