W/b 5th November
Date: 11th Nov 2018 @ 7:43pm
It’s been a busy first week back for Y5. They have been busy learning about what life was like for soldiers in WW1 and writing letters home from the trenches. We also prepared and performed in our moving remebrance service.
in maths children have been working on prime, squared and cubed numbers. We will be moving to multiplication and division by 10,100,1000 etc next week.
Children took part in a ‘Victorian’ lesson which they thought was ‘strict but good’.
Next Wednesday we have our trip to Tatton where children will experience life as rich and poor Victorians. Everyone will need a packed lunch and school uniform. Please ensure children have jumpers and warm coats as it can get chilly.
We look forward to another busy week beginning with a ‘Mad Science’ assembly and visit to the WW1 exhibition at church tomorrow morning.
